Creating Pathways to Opportunity
Via Faciam’s 2026–2027 programming is designed to help women build the skills, confidence, connections, and practical resources needed to pursue new opportunities.
Throughout the academic year, Via Faciam will bring together students, alumnae, professionals, and community partners for career-development workshops, mentorship and networking opportunities, philanthropic initiatives, and events celebrating women’s leadership and achievements.
Many of our events are open to the broader Harvard and greater Boston communities. We invite you to attend, volunteer, contribute resources, or partner with us in creating meaningful and lasting opportunities for women.
Fall 2026: Building Skills, Confidence, and Community
Our fall programming focuses on helping women prepare for academic and professional opportunities through free headshots, résumé and LinkedIn support, interview preparation, mentorship, and conversations with women leaders.
The semester will also include a series of Breast Cancer Awareness Month initiatives centered on education, solidarity, community, and support for those affected by breast cancer.
Spring 2027: Turning Preparation into Opportunity
Our spring programming transforms professional preparation into tangible support. Through the Professional Clothing Drive, Women’s Career and Leadership Fair, Career Closet, and Women’s Award Night, Via Faciam will connect women with clothing, resources, professional networks, and recognition.
Together, these programs are designed to reduce barriers, strengthen supportive networks, and help women pursue internships, careers, leadership positions, and new opportunities with confidence.

Professional Headshot Day
Date: September 19
Time: 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Location: Harvard Yard
This event provides free professional headshots for women preparing for internships, graduate school, and full-time careers. Professional photographs are often one of the first impressions employers and networking contacts receive, yet many do not have access to high-quality headshots. Participants will leave with professional photos suitable for LinkedIn profiles, resumes, conference applications, and personal portfolios.
Resume & LinkedIn Workshop
Date: September 26
Time: 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

This event is meant to help participants strengthen their professional materials. Attendees will receive personalized resume feedback, optimize their LinkedIn profiles, learn strategies for personal branding, and receive guidance on writing compelling cover letters. The workshop is designed to help women confidently present their experiences and prepare for internship and job applications.
Coffee for a Cause
Date: October 10
Time: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

This event is a networking coffee event with healthcare professionals and breast cancer survivors. Participants will have the opportunity to hear personal stories, discuss leadership and resilience, and build meaningful connections while supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Pink Lights Ceremony
Date: October 23
Time: 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Location: Steps of Widener Library
This event is an evening candlelight ceremony celebrating hope, remembrance, and community. Students, faculty, staff, alumnae, families, and community members will gather on the steps of Widener Library, where each attendee will receive a pink LED candle in honor of a breast cancer survivor, in memory of someone they have lost, or in support of someone currently undergoing treatment.
Interview Workshop

This event is meant to help participants prepare for internship, graduate school, and employment interviews through an interactive workshop. Attendees will practice answering common behavioral interview questions, participate in mock interviews, receive individualized feedback, and learn strategies for professional communication, confidence, and interview etiquette.
Women in Leadership Panel
Date: November 19
Time: 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

This event will invite accomplished women from a variety of industries (including business, healthcare, law, education, public service, and nonprofit leadership) to share their career journeys. Panelists will discuss overcoming professional challenges, building confidence, finding mentors, and navigating career transitions. The panel will conclude with a Q&A session, giving attendees the opportunity to gain practical advice and build professional connections
